Absolutely. All of your pets must be treated in order to kill ticks and fleas on each animal.

I PUT THE COLLAR ON YESTERDAY BUT I STILL SEE TICKS AND FLEAS; IS THE PRODUCT WORKING?

Yes. Fleas and ticks get very active as they die, and move to the top of the pet’s coat, where they are more visible. This is actually a sign that the product is working. It may take 2-3 weeks to reach maximum effectiveness because the active ingredient is released slowly over time. However, if you’re still seeing fleas and ticks 2-3 weeks after applying the collar, you may have an infestation in your yard or elsewhere.

CAN I STOP USING COLLAR-ME TICKLESS™ ONCE THE FLEAS AND TICKS ARE GONE?

No. Regular treatment is recommended to prevent future infestations, keeping your pet healthy and happy. Replace Collar-Me Tickless™ every 6 months for continuous control.

SPOT-ON BUGOFF FOR DOGS™ FAQs

WHAT IS SPOT-ON BUGOFF FOR DOGS™?

Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ is a triple action formula that kills adult fleas and ticks, prevents eggs and larvae from growing to adulthood and prevents new pests from getting on your dog. Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ contains two active ingredients: Permethrin and Pyriproxyfen. Permethrin is an insecticide/matricide that kills and repels adult fleas, lice, and ticks. When applied, it disperses
in the pet’s natural skin oils into the sebum, protecting your dog from pests. Pyriproxyfen (also called Nylar) is an insect growth regulator (or IGR) that is particularly effective at preventing eggs and larvae from developing into infection spreading adults.

IF MY DOG ALREADY HAS FLEAS AND TICKS WILL IT KILL THEM?

Yes. The Permethrin in Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ is a fast acting pesticide and repellent of fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies, mites, and lice. Following application, the medicine spreads across the skin surface of the dog and dissolves into the skin. When the pyrethroids reach the hair follicle, they tightly bind to the hair shaft and remain there. Permethrin requires contact of the insect with the chemical compound to repel them. The compound is absorbed through the cuticle of the parasite and exerts a toxic effect on the nerves of the parasite, acting as a noxious stimulus, causing a flushing effect where the fleas become hyperactive. Ticks will exhibit a “hot foot” behavior, scurrying across the animal, eventually falling off and dying.

IS SPOT-ON BUGOFF FOR DOGS MADE IN AMERICA?

Yes. DogCare LLC® products are researched, developed, manufactured, and packaged in small cities surrounding the Kansas City area.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPOT-ON BUGOFF FOR DOGS™ AND FRONTLINE PLUS®?

Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ effectively kills adult fleas and ticks, and eggs and larvae, as does Frontline Plus®. Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ has the added benefit of repelling these parasites. The Permethrin in Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ is a fast acting insecticide which spreads across the dog’s skin and exerts a toxic effect on the nerves of the parasites once they come in contact with the dog’s skin. This causes them to fall off and die before feeding can occur. Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ will also repel mosquitoes and biting flies, but does require contact by the parasites before being repelled. Frontline® uses S-(methopreme) while Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ has an IGR of pyriproxyfen which prevents flea eggs fleas from developing into biting adults. Spot-On BugOff for Dogs™ sells for just a fraction of the cost of Frontline Plus®.

HOW DOES SPOT-ON BUGOFF FOR DOGS™ COMPARE TO BAYER'S K9 ADVANTIX®?

The application need only be applied as a spot to the skin at three or more different locations along the dog’s back between the shoulder blades and the base of the tail.
