What to do for an infestation on your dog?

Infestations can be scary, but there are 3 main steps to take in order to wipe out an infestation on your dog.

1) Get a flea and tick shampoo and give your dog a bath. Flea and tick shampoos contain similar active ingredients to products like Collar Me Tickless and Spot On Bug Off, and should cause most of the infestation to get off your dog.

2) Get Spot On Bug Off and apply 1 application to your dog as soon as their fur is dry. Spot On Bug Off will wipe out any remaining bugs within 4 hours of application. This protection will continue for up to 4 weeks.

3) At the beginning of week 4 put a Collar Me Tickless collar on your dog. The collar will prevent any lapse in protection and continue for 6 months before needing to be replaced. Identifying the source of the infestation can be very important, because if there is an infestation in something like your carpet or yard, that infestation needs to be addressed there before you will be able to keep them off your dog. But once the source is addressed products like Spot On Bug Off and Collar Me Tickless will get any remaining bugs off your dog.
